About Us

SOLUTIONS FOR ATTAINABLE LIVING (SAL) is a future-forward non profit organization located in  Ontario, Canada.

Our objective is to deliver modest, site-appropriate, safe, and energy-efficient dwellings and  shelters, improve access to healthcare, and support job training and employment opportunities. We operate through both online and physical locations. Our primary demographics for our housing initiatives include homeless persons, younger generations, and low-mid income seniors. Our healthcare initiative is to increase the promptness of healthcare for all residents, and finally, to promote job  training and employment possibilities.

With a dedicated board, and committee members, we aim to transform the lives of those we serve, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our community. “Attainable” means  within reach. We believe access to housing, health, and employment is a human need, which should be attainable for everyone.

SAL will bring together through partner and member status, businesses and individuals with specialized knowledge, skills, resources, and the desire to find and support solutions to our mission. Residents and want-to be residents who would like to assist are welcome to support the work of the organization through membership and volunteering.

Under board and member management, SAL will function as a self-help group. Through the process of negotiating contracts with corporations, associations, governments, and obtaining grants and outside funding, we ensure democratic governance and mutually beneficial autonomy for our members.
